Now more than ever the support of the House of Charity is critical for our ministries in the Diocese. There is no way of knowing just how much this will impact this year’s campaign, but we are going to do everything we can to support our neighbors in need.

DID YOU KNOW - the House of Charity is a donor choice for many employee giving campaigns?


Many businesses will begin their Employee Giving Campaigns this month and continue to solicit donations through the fall months. Employee Giving/United Way campaigns give us an opportunity to direct our donations to the charities that best represents our beliefs, interests and social concerns.



Ask your employer for a pledge card and be sure to:


Ø In the Donor Choice Section, designate the “HOUSE of Charity“


Ø Ask to be acknowledged! This ensures our parish will receive credit toward our House of Charity goal.


Ø If the agency requests a code for your donor choice…these codes may be found on the House of Charity website under “Employee Giving Campaign” and in the Catholic Star Herald.


Ø Please send along your completed form to House of Charity – Diocese of Camden 631 Market Street Camden, NJ 08102.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

We are looking for at least four volunteers to assist with our 2020 House of Charity Campaign. It would be very helpful to our staff to have a team in place to help with the coordination of this campaign in order to ensure we are as successful as possible. Please note that volunteering does not include gift solicitations. We truly appreciate your consideration. 
We are looking for volunteers who are:
Respectful of confidentiality
Detail oriented
Comfortable with excel spreadsheets
Available to help out with parish mailings
Comfortable making phone calls
Available to assist with coordination of in-pew weekend
Willing to assist with reception planning
Can dedicate 2-4 hours a week to volunteering at parish office
