GROUPS & COMMITTEES

Altar & Rosary Society
The Altar & Rosary Society is a group whose purpose is to foster devotion to our Blessed Mother and whose motto is "To Use Mary as a Model." The Society serves the parish in many ways and maintains the Altar linens and vestments. Some of their activities include:
  • Recitation of the rosary
  • Annual Luncheon
  • Christmas Raffle
  • Night of Relection
  • May Crowning of the Blessed Mother
  • Sponsorship of an Annual Scholarship
Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month in Our Lady's Chapel at Corpus Christi Church at 7:00 PM with a recitation of the rosary, followed by a brief business meeting and member fellowship. New members are always welcome!

Bingo Committee

BINGO EVERY THURSDAY NIGHT  ST. GABRIEL PARISH HALL, 369 GEORGETOWN RD, CARNEYS POINT, NJ.   Doors open/5:30pm; Sales/6pm; Bingo/7pm Bingo volunteers needed; especially callers!!! Jenn Cressman will oversee Bingo for our parish.  If interested in volunteering, call the office at 8562993833. Cost:  $7 Admission, 1 Bingo Paper Book, 3 50/50’s, 1 Jackpot.  Additional books, etc. are available for purchase.

Knights of Columbus
The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic men’s fraternal benefit society that was formed to render assistance to members and their families. Additionally, the Knights also provide support for their Parish, promote vocations to the priesthood or religious life, and perform service and funding for many local, state, and national charities.
Fr. Cannon Council #2607 was formed in 1936 and serves St. Gabriel the Archangel parish. For more information or to become a member, please contact Art Clemente at 609-420-5560 or by email at artcc@verizon.net.

Social Committee
The Social Committee is dedicated to developing social opportunities for parishioner fellowship through planning events for the Parish and FEN (Family Enrichment Network) events for the community. Meetings are on the second Wednesday of the month at 7:00 PM in the Parish Meeting Room at Corpus Christi Church. The Committee is always accepting new members. Come out and help us have a good time!
